Logo for Turfect Beginnings

This new logo is going to be PART of representing our "grass" brand Turf/Perfect! We currently Install new Lawns and are developing a "weed & feed" program. Our new brand will be considered a failure if it does not illicit strong emotional feelings when people think of the brand. Of course we install lawns, but really, our the "brand goal" is to sell a GRIN just like McDonalds "we make you smile" Therefore I have considered using a mascot of some kind. A turtle was the first creature that flipped into my mind! Maybe the phonetics of Turfect influence that? A turtle that is smuggly grinning? This turtle could become a spokesman for the Turfect brand. Coincidently our telephone number spells 717-656-GRIN Wow! Anyway our brand includes the following ideas:
#1 Friendly neighbor instead of a cold corporate bulldog slow to respond to customer challenges.
#2 Personalized service vs. one size fits all you gotta take it or leave it.
#3 Artistic vs. rubber stamped and dictated by some vendor
#4 Educated vs. fly-by-night kid out of highschool in the business to pay off his hot cycle.
