The Cicely Systems founded by myself in 2004.
The company will develop software systems close to the edge of the possibilities of software-hardware development.
We have various experiences in the software development.
We would like to create state-of-the-art applications in several areas:
1. Hardware controlling, communication software, CAD software
We are the successors of the very successful Knit-Soft BT company, and we would like to continue their development of knitting controllers and knitting CAD applications.
Knit-Soft BT developed several application for two family of German knitting machines and sold them worldwide.
2. 3D applications and physical analysis for sport technique teaching and coaching.
We are developing applications to teaching with the world-champion coach program for the kayakers and other athletes. These applications contain theories of very new physical approach of the sport movements and demonstrate them with full featured 3D models.
3. 3D application and devices for dissection training.
We are developing applications for surgery and dissection teaching and training.This is our largest project. These are state-of-the-art applications completed with special 3D hardware development.

We would like to distribute these (and our future products) through our web site.
We would like to show of ourselves on the one hand like a state-of-the-art, high tech company on the other hand like a very experienced, relaxed company with very good view of life.
The name "Cicely" came from the Northern Exposure TV series, what drafted up a wonderful life in a imaginary city, Cicely in Alaska.
We are working in a similar optimistic and peaceful atmosphere.
Our office is located in Vancouver area. This is also a similar environment to the Cicely city...
